We are a hiring/rental family business. We will endeavour to support you as much as can with required tools or equipment. FJtehire’s ambition is to become the country’s top specialist in sourcing and offering our tradesmen/women customers a massive range of best fit for the job tools and equipment at lowest rates.

We aim to grow our presence in all the districts to cut down time wasted looking and transporting items thereby saving customers money while increasing efficiency.

FJtehire store will be available online 24 hours a day accessed through mobile-friendly website and social media.

Hire Periods

  • Minimum Hire Days is 2 and if you want it for same day return please speak to us.  The item must be returned before we close at 17.00 hours on the same business day.
  • Day - This is the invoiced time starting from 17.01hrs that Day to 17.00hrs following day.
  • Min. of 2 -7 Days – Maximum rate period.
  • Up to 2 Weeks - The 5% off discount to maximum rate period.
  • Over 2 Weeks - The 10% off discount to maximum rate period.

Payment

Minimum of 20% of hire period must be paid on signing terms and conditions agreement forms.

Full payment shall be received 21 days after last date item was used. Failure to compete payment after 21 days will attract 10% compound interest.

You can pay in branch or securely online, cash and cheques.

Product and Pricing Policy

FJTEHIRE rates are in MWK and include VAT.  All products images on this website have been used for clarity and in likely event alternative looking items of similar quality and performance will be offered.  Whilst we take every effort to ensure the accuracy of our product specification, we do recommend that you double check any essential information at the time of hiring as no liability can be accepted.   At all times, we reserve the right to alter rates and other details without prior notification. 

What happens when you Damage the Item?

FJTEHIRE will contact approved mechanics for quote and you shall be responsible to pay the full repair cost. If the damage is serious and the item cannot be repaired, you shall be responsible to pay the full value of the item. We recommend that you ask the value list of all our items

Lost Item?

You shall be responsible to pay the full value of the item. We recommend that you know our price list.

Can I use my Operator?

We recommend using our operators as they are trained to operate specific machines. We charge MWK10,000/day allowance for using our operators.

Default Account Creation

By hiring from us you agree for us to collect your information and use it to open account that will be used for identification. You can request your account to be deleted if you no longer want to use all our services. Under certain circumstances we reserve the right not to delete your account e.g where crime has been reported or suspected.

We strive to always keep your information safe and secure, but we cannot guarantee this. It is your responsibility that you access our services and products from secure sites and ensure that your email is not compromised. If you noticed something unusual immediately contact us.

We reserve the right to add, alter, remove or delete change any or all contents without prior notice. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the most up-to-date contents.

Our aim is to ensure that you have a wonderful experience when accessing both services and products online and on the app.

FJtehire understands the importance of giving a second life to tools and equipment that are not put into use.

We are open minded and accepts customers to use our platforms to acquire work for their machine. It is our responsibility to ensure that the item meets our strict guidelines. 

By getting work for your machine either directly or indirectly from us you automatically agreed to pay us 20% fees for administration. The contract will be between FJtehire and the hirer therefore we have the legal responsibility to claim the full money from the hirer on your behalf and pay 80% into your account for no more than 48hrs.

We buy used, new, spares and repair items. You are encouraged to contact us if you have tools or equipment. Please use the form to reach us.

Our business is built on honest and trustworthy therefore we jealously guard and protect our image. We will vigorously use our vetting process to screen customers who are selling goods to us. You will be asked questions that will help us to establish your legal ownership right for the item you are selling us. We are obliged to ask for acceptable forms of IDs.

In the event that stolen item is sold to us we will immediately report your name to relevant authority and your name blacklisted.

We will work tirelessly to ensure nobody abuse our systems.
